Learn how to handle content flagging in the Admin Portal. Use the Flagged Content tab to review and manage reported media.
In this article:
Flagged Content allows users to report problematic content and provides administrators with tools to review and take action on reports. Reported content remains visible in the Portal until the admin reviews it and takes action.
Review the report
When users flag the content, admins get an email notification about the new report.
The Flagged Content section provides tools for reviewing and managing reports.
Only users with ContentAdmin permission in the Admin Portal can access this section.
Each report includes information for review, including:
- The reported media item itself
- The user who submitted the report
- A timestamp showing when the report was submitted
- The specific reason selected by the reporting user
- The current state of the media, e.g. Enabled if it’s available on the Portal.
Process the report
Administrators have two options for content report handling:
- Delete Report: Removes the report from the Flagged Content list. The media stays available to users.
-
Disable Media: The media is no longer available in the Portal. The report stays in the Flagged Content list after the media is disabled. Admins can re-enable the media later through the Videos section.
Each report creates a separate record in the Flagged Content section, even if users report the same content.
This is all you need to maintain content quality in your Portal.
