Sharing content with anonymous users outside the media portal is a frequent request from customers. The purpose of the public page is to give the ability to share a link to a video that can be viewed on a page OUTSIDE of the portal authentication. Clicking on this link takes the user to a page that loads the player, title and description of the video and holds the branding banner. There is no other information or content displayed from the portal.

With the public page you have a fast and easy way to share videos with viewers outside of the portal without having to embed a video in a page somewhere. The ability to enable a video for public page viewing is controlled at multiple levels (global, user, item) so that you don’t have to worry about content being inadvertently shared outside of the secure video portal.
