Welcome to Ravnur!
This quick-start guide will help you set up a free 30-day trial of Ravnur Media Services (RMS). In just a few steps, you’ll be ready to explore our media encoding capabilities and test how RMS can support your organization’s media workflows.
In this article:
Before you begin
Google, Microsoft, or GitHub account is required.
Get your trial
- Go to https://apps.ravnur.com/freetrial.
-
Fill in your trial details:
a. Organization name – enter a name for your RMS account.
b. Region – select the region where your trial will be hosted. - Verify your email. After submitting, you’ll receive a verification email. You can start using the console right away. Verification is only required later if you want to invite other users.
You'll land on the Dashboard page. Your API key is displayed here once - copy and save it now, as you won't see it again. If you lose it, you can generate a new key at any time from API Key Management, but you will need to replace the old key in any existing integrations. Do not share your API key with anyone outside your organization.
What's included in your trial
Your free trial RMS account is automatically provisioned and ready to use - no manual configuration required.
From this point, you'll have access to:
An RMS account with you as an Owner (role), giving you full administrative control over your media workflows.
RMS Console - a consolidated management interface for accessing and managing Ravnur Media Services.
API access - all RMS API endpoints are available during the trial, so you can test integration with your own application before committing to production.
