Learn how to embed your live stream into an external web page, making it easy for viewers to access your content. You can choose to:
- Embed a channel to show ongoing scheduled events. The player will automatically update when new events are added.
- Embed a single live event. It will stay on the page as a live stream and turn into a recording after the event ends.
Before you begin
Ensure you have completed all necessary setup steps. For details, see Prerequisites for live streaming.
Embedding a channel
1. Navigate to Manage channels and select a channel.
2. Tick the Allow embedding checkbox and click Save.
3. Select the Embedding tab. You can configure the player size and playback options as needed to fit your web page's design.
4. Copy the generated embed code and paste it into the HTML of your web page where you want the player to appear.
What’s displayed in the embedded channel
-
Before stream: Viewers will see scheduled event details, including any thumbnails you've added. This gives viewers a preview of what’s coming next.
-
During stream: While the stream is live, the embedded player will display the ongoing broadcast.
-
After stream:
- Once the stream has ended, the player will show a video-on-demand (VOD) recording of the completed stream.
- After refreshing the page, if no future events are scheduled, users will see a 'No events are scheduled' message.

Once your live stream or channel is embedded, viewers can access your content directly from your webpage. To explore more options, consider these next steps:
- Review our Start live event | Stop live event to start broadcasting your event.
- Configure hands-free streaming in Automatically start a live stream.
- Learn more about embedding VOD with our Embedding Videos section.
